This petticoat is just pure extravangance and looks fabulous under full circle skirts.

The petticoat is approximately 30" long and is available in 1 to 3 layers. It has an elasticated waist and is full circle, then each layer is tiered, with the bottom tier doubled and edged with ribbon.

Made in organza, a typical 2-layer petticoat uses about 24 metres of fabric!

Although made in organza, as you build up your layers these petticoats become really heavy - but absolutely spectacular.

Our inspiration for this waist slip has been drawn from vintage petticoat patterns.

The slip has a wide elasticated waist band and a slightly gathered (but not full) top tier in sheer nylon, followed by a shorter fully gathered sheer nylon tier. Then we have a wide tier of satin, then a double layer of gathered sheer nylon edged with lace. Underneath this is a layer of tulle to give the petticoat a little more volume at the hem, without being stiff and scratchy on your legs.
