The skirt part is made up of 5 full circle layers. The top and 3rd layer are organza, made up with 3 tiers of gathered organza, then an organza ruffle at the hem. The top layer has ruffled lace added too. The 2nd and 4th layers are full-circle net, then the 5th layer underneath is soft see-through nylon.

Our inspiration for this waist slip has been drawn from vintage petticoat patterns.
The slip has a wide elasticated waist band and a slightly gathered (but not full) top tier in sheer nylon, followed by a shorter fully gathered sheer nylon tier. Then we have a wide tier of satin, then a double layer of gathered sheer nylon edged with lace. Underneath this is a layer of tulle to give the petticoat a little more volume at the hem, without being stiff and scratchy on your legs.
