These petticoats are just pure extravangance and look fabulous under full circle skirts.
The petticoats are available in 1 to 4 layers, each layer is 5 tiers, with the bottom layer edged with ribbon. However, don't be fooled, as you build up your layers, the petticoat gets bigger as each tier is gathered onto the one above it, and we start to double the fabric on some tiers - so a 1 layer petticoat will have two rows of fabric at the hem, but a 4 layer petticoat has sixteen rows of fabric at the hem.
Made in organza, a typical 2-layer petticoat uses a whole roll of fabric - about 25 metres, and takes a whole day to make !
Although made in organza, as you build up your layers these petticoats become really heavy - but absolutely spectacular.
